About this event

Today, a growing number of people are returning home after long-term confinement because of our nation’s harsh sentencing laws. What’s it like to navigate life after decades in prison? As a follow-up to The Sentencing Project’s recent report, Learning life all over again: Reentry after long-term imprisonment, join them for our continued discussion on what they have learned and continue to learn about reentry after long-term imprisonment. This conversation will explore factors that support reintegration and changes needed to create meaningful second chances.

Stanley Bellamy – NYC Community Organizer, Release Aging People in Prison
Andrew Hundley – Executive Director, Louisiana Parole Project
